50TH ANNIVERSARY

Celebration
Our club celebrated the 50th Anniversary on May 3rd at Calabria Restaurant. President Patty Welch presented our remaining founders (L to R, Stuart Mulhane, Bernie Plante, and Steve Walinsky) with commemorative Lion plaques. The club was also presented commendations from State Senator Mike Moore, State Representative Paul Frost, and Millbury Selectwoman Mary Krumsiek. Treasurer DJ Welch provided a recounting of the club history, and friend of the club Dick Ferrucci graced us with an entertaining monologue. District Governor Denise Andrews also awarded Stuart Mulhane and Sharon Morin with Lifetime Memberships. It was a wonderful program organized by Bill Kane.
